Help to find a holiday abroad with kids

This would be their first time abroad. Looking for a nice hotel (all inclusive ideally), with a kids pool and slides, flight time 4 hours or less. I have no idea where would be good. Looking to go end of may. If anyone has any recommendations I would be very grateful.

We took ours here for their first trip abroad (aged 5 and 8). It was just out of season, in the Easter holidays so almost too quiet but we still enjoyed it. It seemed like a quiet town. Reasonable walk yo the sea. Great water park. Short flights and just all round easy. We did self catering but the do do ai.

We got the bus into Benidorm one day which I was sort of keen to see as in my neck of the woods, it's a very popular weekend place for hens stags and gerneal piss ups, and it was interesting to visit. They had a good zoo type place on the top of the hill We busses up to.

We've booked Palma Nova in Majorca for beginning of June. Not been before but colleague said it was nice for kids.

I'd recommend Tenerife (costa aedje). Lots of all inclusive packages available on Jet2 or TUI

I should add its not our typical type of holiday but was a cheap and cheerful entry to flying abroad for us as a family.

Turkey or Egypt!! So cheap, amazing food and gorgeous weather

Thank you all. If I could be cheeky and ask for a hotel rec if you have one too that would be amazing. I tend to get sucked into reading all the reviews and end up going round in circles. Thanks again!!

Tenerife we stayed at Labranda Suites in Costa Adeje. Nice hotel. It was All inclusive x

TUI Blue Aura in Ibiza. Entertainment spot on, water park on site, kids clubs, all inclusive. Just over 2 hour flight and short transfer.

It's near to a little beach and boat to San Antonio for change of scenery.

We've been 3 times and love it.

Martinhal Sagres is great for small children. The entire thing is set up for young families including lovely restaurant facing a play area with trampolines set into the ground so they can play while you sip your wine in the sun...

You should say how much you want to spend OP.

We did the Magic Life Bodrum as one of our first family holidays - it’s very child friendly, has air conditioned rooms near the pool for you to play with kids in, they can nap. Good kids clubs and they have 2 bed hotel rooms - which is a godsend as I hate sharing with the DC.

It’s about a 4hr flight and maybe an hrs coach transfer from the airport.

Greece is lovely in May. Corfu, Kefalonia, Crete. There's hotels for every budget.

ODFOx · 30/03/2023 15:00

Duinrell in Holland. Self catering rather than hotel but so much choice and so much for DC to do.
