If you've had them fitted, how much did they cost (4bed terrace house) and how much have they saved you?

I'm intrigued!

We have just had our first month after installation. We are on octopus flux

Paid just over 14k for 11 panels and 15kwh battery

Generated 350kwh from the panels
Used 260kwh energy

Imported 87kwh pretty much all on the 20p rate so bill 17.40 electric plus standing charges of £12. Total bill £29.40

However sold 143kwh back to the grid at predominantly 36p a unit so made 51.48

End result of first month - instead of paying £135 like we did last April, octopus are paying us £30. Essentially first month payback £165

Pretty happy with that for March - April

Going to use it a bit like a long term battery - octopus paying us until probably Sept and then we pay them the other half of the year but even then we can charge the battery overnight at 20p rather than paying 36p a unit

We’ve had ours nearly 10 years, 4kw system. Cost was approx £9k and we recouped the investment in about 8.5 years. We don’t have a battery but do have a widget that turns on the immersion heater when we have excess electricity so that saves on gas for water heating.

We paid 11k for 10 panels and 6.4kw battery in october

In the winter the battery didn't often fill up completely, but recently we've been generating 20kwh a day filling the battery and exporting.

Need to get on octopus flux! We've been stuck on bulb...

Sw facing in the north west of England but with a funny shaped roof

Second month bill - octopus paid us £48. Our import cost was £60 including service charge and they paid us £108 for exported electric
