Anyone got a newish Nissan? Headlights query

I’m not sure when the tech was introduced but we have a Nissan Qashqai with automatic headlights (so they dim and go full beam automatically).

When we drive in the dark using them we get flashed from other cars even when dimmed and tonight DH was driving and said a car pulled in off the road to let him go past - the lights were dimmed.

Is it a matter of going back to the dealership to get them adjusted??

Depends what setting you have them on as 'normal'.

On the dash to the right of the steering column is a dial which adjusts the setting. Set too high then even when full beam switched off your lights may be pointing too high.
