Immunity from mild chicken pox

DD1 has just come out in chickenpox and I mentioned it to my mum. She told me that when I had it I had it so mildly they might not have noticed if my sister hadn't been covered head to toe in spots, and therefore they were on the look out for it in me. It seems that I just had a few spots and no symptoms of fever etc.

Does very mild chickenpox give immunity? Or am I likely to catch it? If relevant, I was about 5 at the time.

I believe it does usually if you were over 1 at the time you caught it
