Any female leisure cyclists here? Advice needed!

Needing non MAMIL bike advice please.

I want something to just use on cycle paths and parks with DD who is 11. Nothing too fancy, just something that isn't too heavy and is comfortable.

I've seen the Pembleton Somerby and the Boardman 8.6 hybrid so far. Any opinions on either please?

ha! DS picked up a heavy trek today. He said it was heavy. It looked pretty (my definition of pretty, drop handlebars, sleek), but not so light.

I have a Pinnacle Lithium from Evans and really like it. It’s a hybrid- oh and I really like the colour!

Are you able to take advantage of the cycle to work scheme?

If you're going up hills OP then dont get a Townie bike, they are essentially 'beach cruisers' with varying gears, mine has 5 but you can get them with more but theyre not great for hills (for me anyway as I am really unfit)

Unless you go electric of course.

I have a Cannondale, my children Isla’s. I need lightweight ones to put on the carrier on the car.
