Have an event booked in 4 weeks to Tottenham stadium tour.

Train for 3 of us is £110.

From the south
The train to waterloo.
Then tube

Or if we drive will we have to pay a congestion charge and where would we park?

Can you apply for any railcards to get the price down? Network if you are in the South East, Family and Friends? You could get a third off the tickets.

You can avoid the congestion charge easily by using the M25.

Use something like the Just Park app to find a local's driveway to park on for the day at a decent price.

Found parking £12 10 min walk away with your parking space for 5 hours

Were go m25. Guess we just have the ulez fee which dh googled as £15

How old is your car? Its older vehicles which aren't compliant with ULEZ.

GymNewbie · 29/03/2023 19:43

18 year old. Think dh put the reg in and said we had to pay.

During the recent train strike, we drove to the 02 in Greenwich and parked the whole day for £16. Right by the tube and very easy. Had to pay ULEZ too though.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but where did you park please? I'm going next month.

Or take the coach - there's 3 companies (national express, megabus and flixbus) which is cheaper depends on the route, longer than rail but similar to driving

Depends where in the south you are. We are in Hampshire and sometimes drive to Richmond and park at the Old Deer Park car park. It’s a 5 minute walk to Richmond station and so easy to do underground or overground trains.
