I can do quite well in an interview when I'm well prepared especially if I use my notes I'm not good at talking off the cuff.
I have an interview tomorrow for an exec level job. I known I can do the job. I can give examples of when I have done everything in the job spec. In the past, I've written out STAR descriptions for each example and that has served me well. I've often used my notes, althiguh consensus here is that you shouldn't.
I've been sent some business plans to be discussed at interview and I've made some notes on those. I am very comfortable with this, so that should be fine.
I have good answers for why you want the job and why you're leaving the old one.
There's a panel interview, some informal chats and a task that will be given on the day.
What else do I need?
And notes? Or not?
