Oh this is going to be good.

It's really lovely there. I took my DD once to one of the cheapest caravans and it was great, we heard owls every night and saw plenty of wildlife. Perhaps try trip advisor if you want a specific recommendation.

YogaLite · 29/03/2023 16:20

Have been but not paid much attention what was where.

scaredofpate · 29/03/2023 16:20

Hehe 😂

The bluebells is the nice area, you want to be near the knighteood lodges on the map as that’s the new area.

We go every year and stay either in the knighthood or a zen lodge.

Thanks! Keeping it cheap and cheerful so we went for a caravan but the highest standard of caravan so hoping it won't be too bad! The pictures look nice so I'm hoping! I've emailed to request to be in Bluebells, might not happen but worth a shot Smile any recommendations for whilst were there/nearby?

Keep an eye out for donkeys in the area of Coombe Lane, not just ponies. Plenty of nice walks around.

We went to the coast a couple of times although that's about 1 hr away, eg Hurst Castle (we walked from Lymington), Hengistbury Head and Bournemouth, but again, by the sea.

I thought this was about something else

I had to look carefully to make sure this one wasn't in Baby Names Grin

I've never been to SB, but surely they must get so extremely sick of answering the phone and finding that it's yet another prankster looking to score an open goal?! I always think the same about Sexey's School and Bishop Grosseteste College!!

billyt · 29/03/2023 23:40

Stayed there last year in one of those stupid 'flamingo' lodges. (don't ask, wasn't my idea)

Never again. Stupid layout and cramped.

Waste of money

If you like horse riding, there's a stables nearby and they take you on lovely hacks.
Also, Salisbury is not too far away.

Knockmealdowns · 01/04/2023 00:18

Take towels, and book the pool beforehand..
