What to do with a load of shrapnel?

Got a bag of very small euro coins- 1,2 and 5 cents mainly. Can I get these exchanged somewhere for higher denominations?
Not sure if a bureau de change would do it? Thanks

You can ask at a bureau de change.

Charities take, well some do.

Or give to friends/family going to EU.

I thought you were house clearing for a parent and wondering what to do w genuine shrapnel!

count it and work out how much effort it’s worth. Often best to give to a charity as unlikely to be much so more worth it for them than you.

Ha, that would be muchmore interesting,@undergroundstation ! Just a few old coins. I think I will donate them to Oxfam, I see that their shops take them.

I don't think you'll be able to exchange them for higher denominations, but bureaux de changes often collect them for charity. My local M&S bureau de change has a huge money box that people can put unused travel money in.
