Holiday - WWYD

So I'm on holiday for a short break which is costing probably £600 overall. Lots going wrong and I'm feeling a bit down

Day 1 - had a lovely wander in the sun. Stopped and had a few drinks and lunch etc along the way.

Did an activity in the evening and back to the hotel.

My DP then spent the whole of the night throwing up. He thinks he ate something bad so neither of us got any sleep.

The hotel room was also awful. Nothing works, bed has a massive dip in the middle, unclean.

Day 2 - We're both exhausted so I drag myself up, go out for some breakfast and raise issues with Reception. After a 3 hr back and forth I have a new room that I have to pack everything up for and move.

After sleeping in the PM, we get ready and go out for dinner and for an evening event. My stomach starts playing up and while I'm not sick, it's gurgling through the whole event.
We get home and go straight to sleep.

Day 3 - So today is now our last day. It is absolutely pouring down, my stomach is still off and my DP isn't awake yet.

Just can't stop thinking what a waste of money. No-ones fault but just a miserable time really.

Would you try and shift your mindset and make the best of it for your last day or just accept that it's shit timing but the holiday can be a resting trip rather than the sightseeing one we had planned?

make the most of it - weather is shite here. Enjoy the sun!

Both, try to make the most of it and if that means resting and relaxing, that’s fine too.
