Mould on clothes! Help!

Posting here for traffic.

DH and I went away for 2 weeks.

During that time, we left a load of clothes in the boiler cupboard (big backlog of laundry!) and the boiler developed a leak.

Came back to a slightly flooded bathroom and the clothes were soaked through, smelled of damp and some had developed visible specks of mould.

Any idea how to save our clothes? Can they be saved, or should I throw them out?

Please help, Mumsnetters!

Oh, and a duvet cover too :(

I have never been able to get mould stains out of clothing when they appear black, so interested in answers too!

Although the ones that have no black mould stains, and just smell damp can be washed as normal and will be OK!

I'd ditch thd duvet tbh.

Wash the clothes perhaps using white vinegar? Goggle first though as that's entirely off the top of my head.

Thank you, currently doing small loads on a long wash using loads of washing powder, liquid disinfectant and vinegar, hopefully it'll help :((

Bicarbonate of soda is supposed to be good too. Bicarb & vinegar should be ok mixed together. Maybe soda crystals or borax substitute too?

I’ve had mould on clothes before and they’ve come out fine in a wash. They were cotton though, other fabric might be different?
