I've always felt that a few drinks brings out a true personality. E.g. a happy affable drunk is probably a nice enough person, someone who turns nasty after a drink will probably also be nasty when stressed etc.
I have a male friend (both single), when we've both had a drink (just a bit, not wrecked!) we laugh for hours and there's definitely flirting and inuendo, a spark.
When we're sober, we get on as friends but there's really no spark at all.
I've got no intention of persing anything but I'm wondering if the sober behaviour is us both "protecting" ourselves from admitting there could be anything else and if we were less cautious the other stuff might come to the fore or if the tipsy behaviour just means we'd flirt with anyone after a drink. 😆
Just idle musing. What do you think?
