Has anyone else noticed that tealight candles are much smaller now? They are about half the depth of the old ones(unless you buy the bigger ones which have stayed the same)

You want some Bolsius 8 hr ones, some ironmongers sell them as well as the dreaded Amazon.

Yes - but I think that they've just started producing these smaller (less deep) ones to be able to sell them at a low cost for places like Poundland and HomeBargains etc. So now as consumers, we get used to those smaller ones being the 'normal' size.

Then the normal size ones that we were used to, that burn for longer, are now rebranded as "Maxi" or "8 Hour" tealights.

Yes, the IKEA ones are half the depth.
