Homemade: simple but delicious

I use made a steamed syrup sponge pudding and it was delicious!

NOTHING at all like the shop bought ones but like a little whipped fluffy soft cloud, slightly wobbly. All the ingredients were very basic. It did take 1.45hr to steam it and was nervous to turn it out.

A very long Time since I made a pudding.

What have you made that was simple but delicious.

Try that same sponge pudding with lemon curd or jam or mincemeat instead of the syrup. All gorgeous.

I also love lemon posset (seems not that popular on MN but I think it's the fabbest easy dessert.
