What is this icon on my phone? It's a phone and a number 2.

It appeared yesterday and comes and goes. DD says she thinks it's something to do with my signal not being strong enough to make a phone call.
It's an android phone.

NewContender · 26/03/2023 17:50

That’s not an android, it’s a canine.

Rarar · 26/03/2023 17:51

Oh! Two missed calls?

dementedpixie · 26/03/2023 17:51

If you click on the picture it shows the icon in the top right.

It's to do with WiFi-calling I think but don't know why there's a number 2

Pixiedust1234 · 26/03/2023 17:51

Its usually means missed calls on mine.

Jojobees · 26/03/2023 17:51

Cocolapew · 26/03/2023 17:52

How do I get rid of it?

OP posts:
Cocolapew · 26/03/2023 17:53

The most recent Whats App call was 2021

OP posts:
NewContender · 26/03/2023 17:56

Are you sure it’s not something relating to the standard of your wifi connection?

dementedpixie · 26/03/2023 17:56

Turn off WiFi calling to get rid of the icon

TreesAtSea · 26/03/2023 17:59

You should be able to view recent notifications via Settings and Notification History, or something worded similarly. That may give you an explanation of which app or "part" of your phone it relates to.

Just did it thanks!

I just turned mine on
It means you can use WiFi to make calls where there isn't a mobile phone signal. Might be helpful on occasion

Cocolapew · 26/03/2023 18:13

That's what DD thought, Virgins signal is crap. My phone updated the other day and it must have automatically came on.
Thanks for the advice 🙂
