I am. I watch every year even though I've got no affiliation to either university. I just watch because I'm in awe of what these individuals achieve even if they aren't in the winning crew

Has the selection of the Surrey Station been a big advantage for Cambridge Women? If so the Cambridge Men are going to have their work cut out.

Stranger things have happened in the boat race. I think it's Cambridge's race to lose but in this weather it wont be out of the realms of possibilities

@BronwenFrideswide I think Surrey is typically the favoured one. Cambridge women were the favourites. I don’t know who the favourites are in the men’s race though …

The men look really finely weighted. They are machines, tho if I were in the Oxford boat I might want to lamp the cox one afterwards but it’s just not her fault, she’s got to try and gee them up
