(Lighthearted!)

I'm usually fairly on it with clock changes, but work stress and perimenopause has completely addled my brain right now.

Was in bed this morning talking to DH. Picked up my phone and said "oh is it 8.40?" I thought is was much earlier?

He replied "yeah it's nearly 9" to which I remarked maybe my watch was broken.

A little while later in the kitchen I said "it looks like my watch is going slow, I'll change the time but maybe I'll need to get it fixed".

He replied "yes you might need a new battery".

Then I saw the kitchen clock and it clicked!

"Oh the clocks have gone forward!!!@

DH "yes course they have, didn't you realise?"

HmmHmmHmm

I don't think so.

I think he hadn't clicked that when you were talking about your watch being slow etc. was just you hadn't reset it for the hour. A lot of things (like my watch) reset themselves so he probably didn't really think about it.
I got mixed up this morning because I assumed the alarm clock had reset itself (it normally does) and it hadn't-it did about 40 minutes after I looked at it.

Nah sounds like he just wasn’t really registering what you said and didn’t connect the dots

I woke at 7:16 (GMT) and confusedly thought not only did my alarm not go off but the clocks have gone forward so I should be at work by now. Then I realised it was Sunday, not Monday.
