Can anyone help. Covid test

I've woken up today coughing and feeling a bit rough. Sister currently has covid and we were briefly together a few days ago so thought I'd better test.
The first test had a vivid red line on the C (positive covid line) but nothing on the test line.
The instruction leaflet said this means it's an invalid result.
I did two more tests with the same result.
The tests we had were in date but we've had them a while so dh went out and bought a new test but the result was the same. I'm definitely following the instructions properly.
Has anyone else had this or knows what the problem could be?

Surely C is the control line and T is the Test line, so a line only against T means you are negative. Perhaps read the instructions again carefully.

Sorry, that should say a line only against C means you are negative.

Haven't tested for a while but I thought a line next to c but not t is a negative and a line next to t but not c is the invalid test.

Sounds like you are negative and have a good old fashioned virus.
