Moving house!
Our current home (also our first) we always said wouldn’t be forever. It’s a bit on the smaller side. Still 3 bedrooms luckily as we have our son and 1 room is used as an office as we permanently wfh.
We would need more downstairs space for another child! 3 bedrooms would suit us but yeah the 2nd bedroom isn’t even big enough for 2 kids to share I’d say , 2 beds would take it up!
so it’s in my heart it’s not our forever home. But the interest rates just seem to keep climbing and the house prices (especially by us - we want to stay in the same area) aren’t going down 😭
im planning on painting some rooms in our current house to make it more cosy but even now in my head if thinking is it a waste of time/money? In case we find our dream home soon
but if we find our dream home the interest rates are so off putting :/ and the house prices
NB: Very very lucky to own our home that if it came to it we could add bits on and stay here! I’m not being ungrateful
just crazy how different the housing market is compared to when we bought this house
