Would you sit on row 13 or an airplane?

That's it really! We've been allocated row 13 for our seats. I'm not superstitious but would I look odd going into TUI to change it??

Nimbostratus100 · 25/03/2023 10:49

It really wouldn’t bother me. I have an ex that would freak out over this though!

IncompleteSenten · 25/03/2023 10:49

If you're not superstitious why would you want to change it?

NoWeaponsOnTheTable · 25/03/2023 10:49

I detest flying but the number of the seat wouldn't make any difference at all.

It's not as if only row 13 will perish in the event of a catastrophe!

butterfliedtwo · 25/03/2023 10:50

It's further down than I prefer, but that would be it.

RobinRobinMouse · 25/03/2023 10:51

Yes, I think if the worst should happen then it won't matter which row you were in all that much. I do hate flying though as I find turbulence absolutely terrifying.😬

DanceMonster · 25/03/2023 10:51

Yes, why wouldn’t I? I prefer the back row though, just for ease of getting on and off.
If you’re not superstitious why do you want to change them?

specialkayy · 25/03/2023 10:52

Yes, because if the plane goes down there's always going to be people in row 13. So it's completely irrelevant, it's not like only one row can fly out the window and row 13 would inevitably be it 😂

QueSyrahSyrah · 25/03/2023 10:53

Yes, and I'm sure I probably have done without a seconds thought.

DanceMonster · 25/03/2023 10:53

Also even if you were superstitious it makes no sense… it’s not only row 13 that’ll be in trouble if the plane crashes, will it? There’s always going to be someone in row 13, so if their bad luck means they’re going to crash because they’re in row 13, you’ll still die if you’re on row 15 🤷🏻‍♀️

Toottooot · 25/03/2023 10:54

Wouldn’t even give it a second thought! Don’t like the seats you’ve been assigned next time pay to select your own 🤷🏻‍♀️

Fullofpudding · 25/03/2023 10:54

I know!! It just gave me a funny feeling. I suppose if the plane goes down I'll die in whichever row I'm in 🤪

TheChosenTwo · 25/03/2023 10:55

Think about it. How many row 13s are currently flying above us?
if something happens to one, something happens to all, and we all get to hear about it!

jays · 25/03/2023 10:55

Yes. If row 13 is going down, every other row will be going down too! That row won’t plummet to the ground whilst the rest of the plane sails onto its destination 😂 you’ll be fine!

Madamecastafiore · 25/03/2023 10:56

No we always sit at the back because A, can't afford first class and B. Planes never fly backwards into mountains!

No really we sit where they put us without a second thought. If the planes going down it's likely you'll be dead whatever seat you sit in.

DanceMonster · 25/03/2023 11:00

You say you’re not superstitious but honestly, even just for considering changing the seats, you’re the most superstitious person I know!
