UC application joint claim - does it have to be done together at the same time ?

If I start the application and get the partner code for DH can he log on later and do his part or does he have to doing his claim at the same time?

My plan was get him to look after the dc so I can concentrate on my part then swap over so he can take the code and do his part but will that work ?

That’s fine. The claim doesn’t start until the day you both submit your parts

Thank you I just needed to check as can’t see it’ll be possible for us both to do it at the same time and concentrate and I’m worried about making a mistake
