I wouldn’t touch trifle if it had sherry in it as when I was about 3, I was sick & always blamed the trifle. No doubt it was because I’d eaten too much or had a bug but it was years until I would eat it again

Tomatoes, I hated them until I was mid 30's, love them now! Although I can't eat many these days as they are bad for inflammation and I have osteoarthritis.

I was by my mother I wouldn't like spicy food like curry when I was young. University was a revelation. (Or indeed Chinese food other than the one specific dish she likes... I'm mid 30s, she still has trouble accepting i like something different!)

Sprouts. I used to hate them until a few years ago then dh put sprouts in something and I tried it now I eat them almost every week.
Olives as well I'd always wanted to like olives and didn't tried them on and off now I live them.

Fresh coriander. Always hated it until 3 or 4 months ago. I'd painstakingly pick it off my food in restaurants. A small amount could ruin a meal. Now I'm chopping it up and adding it to all sorts at home. Genuinely quite shocked at the change, it was like flicking a switch.

Mushrooms. Hated them until 30s and now crave them all the time.

Olives. Can't get enough of them now
