My favourite time of day - good morning :-)

I'm sitting on the balcony having a quiet cup of coffee, listening to birdsong and just enjoying the general quietness in the house before the children wake up.

Good morning! I'm a lark and always have been. Normally asleep between 9 and 10, up around 5. I have a 15yo so he's the opposite, we're a bit like ships in the night at the weekends! 😁

Morning! I was just wondering whether to pop on my wellies and go for an early stroll with the dog 😁

I don't do mornings but the wind has woken me up.we are mid-lambing so I need to pop put and check for new lambs. I think I can see one from my window.

well, DS2 has just got back from his night out, and gone to bed - and I am thinking I've been up for quite long enough now and time for a nap

Awe, cute 😺 I'm laying in bed listening to DH snore his head off ... I'm bored of repeatedly poking him in the ribs to make him turn his head so he stops. I went to bed just after midnight and now find myself wide awake. I haven't the motivation to go out side, or for a walk, however they both sound lovely.. may e I need to push myself... I like the idea of the crisp morning sir.
My family will think I've gone mad...

@Louiseandsophie I went to bed at 9pm, my 8 year old came and said good night!

I wish I could stay up til midnight but would just be sleeping on the sofa.

Ahh sympathise with the snoring DH, it's so annoying.
My DH is worse at the weekend if he's had a few beers 🍻

A crisp walk sounds good. It's raining here but I'll be taking DD to dancing soon so will get a walk of sorts.

DH is up!! He has an annoying 'retro Casio watch' which admittedly I bought his as a nostalgic birthday present. For some reason the alarm on it is set at 06:04 every morning (G knows why?!), I've given up asking him to turn it off as the reply is 'i don't know ho'... Laziness I think...I tend to bury it under his pillow... Weird to think he doesn't know I'm moaning about him when he's stood right here.. haha. Literally though... Stood, next to the bed, hunched over his mobile, checking god knows what :twitter, Facebook, what's app chat'... Does anyone else's DH do this... Bugs they hell out of me. AIBU in the face that this BUGS ME wholly. 😁

I'm on the couch drinking coffee and can see the bright sun rising up through the cloud through the front windows.
My view to the side is very peaceful and calm at the minute. I can see to the top of the mountains we live beside and the only movement is the occasional bird.

I've been awake ages too. I always wake early - but go to bed early too!

It's my birthday today. The first one since my ex and I spilt which is making me a bit sad. Just been through my Facebook memories which was a silly thing to do. I think my DC are planning something so I have to stay in bed until they wake up!

I can hear DD snoring in her bedroom. I'm now going to get the kettle on. I've just had great news from my wonderful god mother that she's on the mend. Shall celebrate with a big coffee in my favourite love heart mug.

I usually get up somewhere between 4am and 6am.
I love the peace and solitude, and either just enjoy that, or use my energy which is at a peak in the mornings to do some cleaning.

Good morning! I'm trying to.placate the cat at the moment. She has a vet appointment first thing so I'm not letting her outside as we wouldn't see her for hours if we did. She is not happy. She's wailing at the locked cat flap now, she's very badly done to 🙈

Morning! I'm usually awake at 5.30 and enjoy a coffee in bed with an audio book or podcast. Get up at 6.30 and either walk or swim before work. At the weekend I do a few chores before going out, just finished a load of washing 🙃. I'm definitely at my best first thing.

Have been awake since 5:30, lay in bed scrolling on my phone for a bit (too long) then had a hot bath. Now about to have a cup of tea before my child gets up!
