Giant Tesla carpark, what's going on with Teslas?

Near me is an out-of-town shopping centre and it has several large car parks around it. As I was there today I saw one of them had been filled exclusively with white Teslas, 100s of them. What's that all about? There's no car dealership anywhere near. It almost looked like a car 'holding pen'. I'm also intrigued by all the cars being white. I thought white had dropped from the no.1 colour choice.

Id guess its a car holding pen then, nothing unusual...

White is the standard colour that comes free. You pay for anything else. It’s just a holding pen as you guessed

I'm not surprised to hear this. My Dad dropped into our local dealer just to have a nose and was told if you want a brand new one, it's only a 3 week wait! He said there weren't loads stored at the dealership so assumed they were offsite in a huge storage area.

Somebody should go and liberate them. They can't be happy being all cooped up like that.
