Solar panels noise

Solar panels recently fitted, very windy in Cornwall at the moment. Banging and thumping all the time, 100 year old property, seriously concerned, contacted company who fitted them. They don't seem overly concerned, need ear plugs at bedtime. Is this normal

Bumping for you.
No clue about solar panels but, since having our gutters done, we have something that rattles in the wind, right outside our bedroom window, it keeps me awake all night so I know how miserable it is.

Is there an ombudsman for solar?

Ours make no noise atall, also Cornwall but in a valley, but literally you wouldn't know they were there.

not normal. We get high winds (other side of England). no noise here

I'd be concerned that the wind was getting under them and lifting them. At best this would weaken the roof, at worst the panels could eventually pull away, taking some of the roof with them.

They haven't been secured properly, it needs sorting out before something works loose.
