So has this lumpy thing on big toe for a while and noticed it has got slightly bigger. It's not painful or hard.
But I can maybe see it getting uncomfortable if it gets any bigger.

Anyone know what it is and is it a GP job or chiropidist?

Could be an ingrown nail or a whitlow.

Ingrown nail. Can you get your r fingernail under the edge and lift it up? If you can’t without extreme pain it’s definitely an ingrown nail. Try soaking it in warm salt water and then putting an antiseptic cream like germolene on it. If that doesn’t work after a few days you’ll need to see a doctor.

It's not painful. But Im guessing as it's getting bigger I need to get it checked out

I'd see a podiatrist- unless it feels hot and infected with pus- then I'd see GP.

Podiatrist or chiropodist will sort that out for you.

I had something that looked like this as a kid, my mom accused me of picking my nails and causing it to in-grow. She marched me to the doctor where it turned out to be a bone spur- pushing my nail up.
