Blink camera help

For storage for blink camera is it correct that I can get this special usb thing and plug it in and that will make sure I can see the motions? Rather than me paying each month? Please help!

Also what batteries do these cameras take? Is it normal AA batteries or something different?
And is it easy to take it out of the holder and change the batteries?

My blink camera use AA cells. I switched out to new 1.5V AA lithium cells, which can keep continuous 1.5V output, more reliable power than normal disposable AA cells.

We have the Sync Module for our Blink and it's brilliant! You need a USB stick and then all the files get saved on there, but you can view the last month's worth on your phone.
