Waste paper bins

Do you have a bin in your bedroom? In your lounge? We have one in nearly every room, just for wrappers and paper etc. DH thinks it's weird, I think it's fine. The kids use them (when they probably would leave rubbish lying around otherwise).
Is it weird to have waste paper bins in the house? They get emptied regularly.

No we don't.

Rubbish is always taken to the main bin. Not immediately tbf but in the same way that cups and plates are always brought through to the kitchen.

I have one in my bedroom which I empty every day and one in the bathroom plus a little one in my dressing room (spare bedroom!) for makeup tissues etc
I don't have one anywhere else because if I did people would throw their rubbish at it from across the room and make more of a mess than if I did not have one (all been done before)

Bathroom
in each office
DD's room (one for paper and recycling, one for normal rubbish)
kitchen bin

Life is too short to empty more bins.

Yes. One in each bedroom, one in the bathroom, one in the lounge / dining room, and the main one in the kitchen. The DC empty their own bins and will empty the others if asked.

Yes, one in every room.
I know with certain family members there’d be litter in random places otherwise, & also I’m an obsessive recycler and this way I can make sure everything ends up in the right place Smile
