Has anyone made a successful/unsuccessful claim through the small claims court?

Thanks

So people will post having had success and some people will post having been unsuccessful. Neither responses will determine the outcome of your case. Can't understand your thread. Unless I've missed something- what were you hoping to gain from this?

I had a success going on Judge Rinder, was easy and quick... As I had all relevant evidence

Yes, I was successful in a motor insurance claim. It was very straightforward and I enjoyed my day at court!

Define successful? I took someone to the small claims and won but they had not got the money to pay me back and are now bankrupt. Nothing I can do so yes I 'won' but I will never get the money so I also lost.

Yeah.
You good?

Yes, we've twice pursued clients at work who wouldn't settle their bill.

We had full payment within days of submitting the claims, so it was very successful.

Thanks everyone. Not heard of anyone actually doing this so appreciate your replies.

I am currently about to take my dishonest architect to the Small Claims Court.
I paid a bill twice by mistake and he refused to refund me.
He didn’t turn up to the mediation and has sent in all sorts of complicated explanations; he’s very clever and manipulative.
The court case is in a month and if he loses I guess he will be in big trouble with RIBA.
He did so many other dishonest things but that is the only thing that is straightforward enough to take him to the Small Claims Court for.
