Anyone know why I recieved a covid test in the post this morning.

Look back on your recent email- you will have received an email explaining this and saying a box of covid tests are being sent to you in the post - you should use these if you contract covid and report the result on the nhs covid site and this will enable access to early preventative drugs or whatever they are called.

I got one too! I'm not on the shielding list, nor did I receive an email ... I do take mild immunosuppressive medication, so assume it's because of that

Yes. The PCR test that they sent you 18 months ago will be going out of date soon.
Its so that you can access antiviral medication quickly if you have Covid.

I got some too, but also had the email a couple of weeks before. They probably don't have your up-to-date email address, or it went to spam.

The email wasn't very specific about why my particular health issue or medication makes me vulnerable, but I suppose free tests and the option to access antiviral treatment if I get covid again is not something to turn down.

i got some as well,my others were just coming up to out of date, im on list also with health issues, i will get treatment if i catch covid, put in a cupboard incase you need them says buying them
