Smoker line fillers

After months of indecision and research looking for a medically trained practitioner, I finally took the plunge with botox and fillers yesterday for very first time yesterday. Botox very light around eyes and forehead, not really took effect yet but nothing I'm worried about.
However, my main concern was the around my lips, marionette and smoker lines. I told her I wanted a natural look and nothing in my lips, although she ended up putting tiny little bit in top line of lips 'to even things out'.
When first done it looked great. By time I went to bed last night, I looked a bit like a duck/Homer Simpson. The bit between nose and mouth looks oversized and swollen. I've hardly slept for getting up to look in mirror This morning it looks worse. Luckily I'm working from home next couple of days but please someone reassure me this is swelling that will calm down into a more natural look soon?
I appreciate there are a lot of people on here are going to judge and be telling I shouldn't have had it done, I should age gracefully etc but I was genuinely unhappy with how I've aged since menopause and...anyway, I got it done.
I would love to hear from people who've actually had this done and experienced the same thing. Is it swelling? Will it go down? How long does it take? Any tips on how to hurry the process along? Also, I was going to go to gym today as practitioner said this was fine but I've just said somewhere that this might aggravate the injection site and cause swelling?

Swelling is absolutely normal but if you're worried then contact the person that did it. Whenever I've had anything done they've been very clear on going back to them specifically or contacting them to be reassured or put right. They are the ones that can fix it and if you don't like it can dissolve the filler.

Thank you, it's honestly been less than 24 hours and we have an appt arranged in 2 weeks time to talk about how things are but she just made it sound like there would be minimum to no swelling so I'm a little surprised how evident it is. I guess I'm just looking for reassurance that it will start to look better and it's not a permanent state

There will be some initial swelling especially if she's gone into your lip line (that will be the worst area). There should be a settling period for the other filler but, as a pp said, contact if you're concerned. They'll be used to reassuring people and the aftercare is part of the package.

I swell for a week! I'd wait at least two to go back.

Honestly the swelling is normal!

I cried after mine, I looked ridiculous but it calmed right down and looked really natural after a week or so x

OK thank you, that's really reassuring. And thank you for not judging. I know I'm just panicking cos it's my first time. But I told absolutely no-one I was getting anything done, hoping it would look subtle and natural and now I'm scared to leave house and make eye contact with anyone! I'm thinking of going back to wearing 😷
Any advice bout going to gym? I read an article earlier that this could aggravate injection sites and worsen swelling but doesn't specify for how long. Don't mind giving it a miss today but I have PT tomorrow

I'd not go to gym for a few days x
