Don’t see why not? One’s an antibiotic and other has paracetamol, caffeine and phenylephrine in it. Wouldn’t think they interact.
But if you are really worried then call any pharmacist and ask.

Yes you can.

100%, definitely.

Yes.
Amoxicillin's only listed interactions are with warfarin, some gout medications (probenecid and allopurinol), methotrexate (anti-cancer/anti-inflammatory) and certain other antibiotics.
Cold & flu remedies contain phenylephrine (alpha-agonist, decongestant) and paracetamol, along with caffeine (daytime preparations) or chlorphenamine (sedating antihistamine in night-time preparations). None of these have significant interactions with amoxicillin.

Just Google the answer.

Thanks to those who answered.

And I did Google but it didn’t seem definitive so wanted to ask if anyone knew for sure (with so much of this going around I knew someone would know the answer and funnily enough pharmacy wasn’t open to ask at 9pm)🙄

I totally understand your concern because I was in the same situation recently! I had to take Augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate) for a urinary tract infection, and at the same time, I needed cold and flu night tablets because I was dealing with a bad cold—congestion, fever, and body aches.

The good news is that it’s generally safe to take cold and flu night tablets while on amoxicillin, as long as there are no interactions with other medications you’re taking. Just check the ingredients—some cold medicines contain acetaminophen (paracetamol), decongestants (like phenylephrine), or antihistamines, which can cause drowsiness. These won’t interfere with amoxicillin, but if you have any other health conditions, it’s always best to double-check with a doctor or pharmacist.

By the way, when I needed Augmentin, there were some issues at my local pharmacy, and I had to order it online. A friend recommended this pharmacy: topsup24.com/buy-augmentin-uk.html. Surprisingly, the order arrived super fast, and most importantly, the medication worked perfectly. Just thought I’d share in case anyone finds it useful as an alternative to regular pharmacies! 😊
