Why are all the most entertaining threads by trolls?

BansheeofInisherin · 21/03/2023 19:46

The 96 items on Vinted thread. And the one where OP's friend apparently married some chap who only wanted a visa. And the wolves of Belgium one.

I always get taken in too.

OP posts:

Pirate sex was rather amusing if you were there as it unfolded.

And t-rex, Sharon and the wine up the wall.

NeverTrustAPoliceman · 21/03/2023 19:58

I was enjoying the wolves one this morning. Not only was it blatantly untrue but funny, some of the replies were very witty too.

BansheeofInisherin · 21/03/2023 19:59

I do try to cut down on my MN usage so I have missed the pirate sex, t-rex etc etc. Damn. I think MN should move all these threads into a separate forum with a troll warning on top.

OP posts:

Bison is another funny one, so are the water creatures.

ShowOfHands · 21/03/2023 20:03

T-rex and Sharon etc were well over a decade ago. Pirate sex was even older.

Penniless · 21/03/2023 20:05

Oh, has the immigrant Belgian wolves ganging up with the crayfish and grey squirrels to steal our jobs and women one gone?

SpacePotato · 21/03/2023 20:08

T rex was awesome for the mental imagery alone!

@vodkaredbullgirl please can you link to the bison thread?

Also - who is the water troll I keep hearing about?

Very likely the same op as the wolves one last night

And the talcum powder one tonight which is now being ‘looked at’ by MNHQ!

EmmaEmerald · 22/03/2023 00:23

I wish they would keep them, I love the sea serpent ones
never seen a bison one though, I feel I have missed out!

The bison ones were weird, multiple threads asking for peoples opinions on bison, and then being furious if anyone was positive or neutral towards bison.

NevieSticks · 22/03/2023 00:29

There seems to be a dearth of interesting threads just now and there also seems to be loads of old dead "potentially interesting" threads being "revived" by people - so many in fact that I was wondering if it was deliberate.

Gstr · 22/03/2023 00:30

I wish the bison/wolves/talc would roll back to their orignal M&S threads. Or combine, what about M&S wine pairings for bison?

They're back 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I was enjoying the wolf one too!

Omg, that was quick!

I can't stop laughing now
i had no idea anyone had strong opinions on bison
whereabouts in the world are the alleged bison btw?

EmmaEmerald · 22/03/2023 00:38

Oh hang on
Bison are being brought into the UK aren't they
for some reason, I find this all so funny, I forgot.

Sandysandwich · 22/03/2023 00:42

I think it was that they were in the UK that was the problem, lots of the poster being very upset that "horrible mudering beasts" were going to be wandering round the uk probably eating children or something. And then getting very angry when people said they were excited for our new bison friends or made bison/basin jokes.

704703hey · 22/03/2023 00:48

Is pirate sex still around??

I'll have a Google! Up with a sore stomach so need a distraction

704703hey · 22/03/2023 00:52

Aha, found it

HangerLaneGyratorySystem · 22/03/2023 00:54

The talc one there is different. More sensible. The talc bum one has definitely gone. Shame.
