Why are all the most entertaining threads by trolls?

Pirate sex was rather amusing if you were there as it unfolded.

I was enjoying the wolves one this morning. Not only was it blatantly untrue but funny, some of the replies were very witty too.

I do try to cut down on my MN usage so I have missed the pirate sex, t-rex etc etc. Damn. I think MN should move all these threads into a separate forum with a troll warning on top.

Bison is another funny one, so are the water creatures.

T-rex and Sharon etc were well over a decade ago. Pirate sex was even older.

me too, I saw it but didn't click as I thought it would be boring.

The bison ones were weird, multiple threads asking for peoples opinions on bison, and then being furious if anyone was positive or neutral towards bison.

There seems to be a dearth of interesting threads just now and there also seems to be loads of old dead "potentially interesting" threads being "revived" by people - so many in fact that I was wondering if it was deliberate.

I wish the bison/wolves/talc would roll back to their orignal M&S threads. Or combine, what about M&S wine pairings for bison?

for some reason, I find this all so funny, I forgot.

I think it was that they were in the UK that was the problem, lots of the poster being very upset that "horrible mudering beasts" were going to be wandering round the uk probably eating children or something. And then getting very angry when people said they were excited for our new bison friends or made bison/basin jokes.
