Question about eggs

Does the way you cook eggs affect how filling they are?

When I have two boiled eggs for breakfast, I am hungry by lunchtime. But if I have the same two eggs scrambled (using water), or fried (with a couple of sprays of oil) it keeps me full until mid afternoon.

Is it psychological? Or other people have the same experience?

That makes sense to me. Is it because they take longer to eat? The oil will give a tiny bit extra but not much.

I agree but off topic do people make scrambled egg with water??

I scramble just eggs with a bit of butter. No milk, water, nada added.

Hard boiled eggs keep me going much longer than scrambled.

You put water in scrambled egg?

I haven’t noticed a difference and I do eat a lot of eggs.

Fat keeps you fuller for longer so it makes sense that any method using fat rather than water would make you feel so. Using water to make scrambled eggs is basically a sin, why would you do that?

Never thought about it but I could easily eat 3/4 boiled eggs, beaten in a cup with butter and salt, but I couldn't eat 4 poached eggs.
