Help with UC!

Hi all,
Can anyone tell me when my UC pay rise will kick in?
I understand that from April there's 10% (approx) rise but wasn't sure and can't work out if this will be effective in my April pay (which is paid on the 5th and considers my pay from 28-27 each month) or if I'll have to wait until may?

I don’t think you will see any rise in your April payment. I get paid on the 22nd and last year I had a slight increase in my April payment and the full increase in my may payment.

I assume they’ve looked at the increase beginning on April 6th (new tax year) and looked at it day by day.

I think we are likely to see the first cost of living payment of £301 in April too though at some point.

Yeah I feared as such that it would be may pay as I guess my April pay reflects March doesn't it?
But was just hopeful as my car needs to go in the garage and every penny helps all 🙈

Your April payment is for the March assessment period so the increase in the April assessment period will be shown in your May payment
