What shall we buy for someone who's leaving outlet team after 10 years working here? Budget approx £100. It's so hard to choose something!

Thanks.

Gift voucher for John Lewis or similar and bunch of flowers.

It's hard to make suggestions for a person you know nothing about. A voucher for a shop/service they like?

AlisonDonut · 20/03/2023 07:32

£100 in an envelope

Middletoleft · 20/03/2023 07:34

Cold hard cash or a voucher. No tat please!

NewFL · 20/03/2023 07:36

I would agree John Lewis voucher is safe bet.
If you know she likes a particular shop, goes to particular hotel or restaurant regularly then voucher from there

Ask them. I've done many collections and always ask, and the recipient is always pleased.

Sorted.

Agree @Middletoleft @AlisonDonut

Cold hard Cash in an envelope!

I got a cheque once - that was great and probably the last ever cheque I got.

I think card flowers bottle or Moët (or chocs if they don't drink) and £70 cash would be lovely.

DilemmaDelilah · 20/03/2023 07:56

I agree to ask her. I would be disappointed if I received @QueenMabs suggestion of card, flowers, bottle of Moet or chocolates and £70 cash. I don't drink much, I don't like champagne anyway and I am diabetic. I would prefer a nice card and a voucher for the shop of my choice. (Either Amazon or a garden centre for me!)
