Husband talking about Vasectomy.

Does anyone know how long the wait is for a Vasectomy on the NHS?

I know it will depend on where you live ( We are Nottinghamshire )

I'm pretty sure we I don't want anymore kids, blessed with 2 but it does seem very final.

How long did others have to wait?

Husband has his done last week. Went the docs and started the process about September/ October. We’re in the north west

DH had one in June last year. He only waited around 8 weeks from his first visit to that GP regarding it. Think it just depends where you are.

About 18 months here at moment SE, but told likely to be quicker after April. Not sure how that works.

DH has just had his, its been about a year since he approached his GP
