So I've long received spam email that has my (acquaintance from long ago) friend's name on the front of it. If I hover the cursor over it, it has some junk email address and I block & delete it without opening. What I'm curious about is that this is someone I haven't spoken to in real life for years, so what I'm questioning is, was her email account compromised and her address book used to contact me initially? Or has someone somehow chosen her name from my contacts list to send me junk? I'm trying to fathom it out.
