Paint stained toddler’s skin - any ideas?

Had the ridiculous notion that we should do some messy play. Got the paints, clay etc out and the young one inevitably got it all over themselves.

No problem - went for a bath. Most of the paint has come off, but there’s definite staining in areas. Haven’t tried anything yet, does anyone know any tricks?

It was poster paint, if that makes any difference. It was the paint from this set.

Hand gel. I did this when doing footprints on a 3 month old baby with red paint. Alcohol hand gel got it off perfectly and then wash the areas well with baby soap and water to get rid of the hand gel.

Same. I threw the paint out after
I applied baby oil to the stains, left a while then washed in soapy water.
Don't know how to post links but these I've found wash off very easy

@CoffeeLover90 Haha I’m throwing it out too! Never again. 20 minutes of fun followed by 2 hours of stress isn’t worth it. Messy play can be reserved for nursery now. 😀

Just ignore it. It will come off in a couple of days. Washable paint next time.

I think I messed up by assuming that poster paint in a kids messy box would come off easily. I remember using poster paint at school and it came off with cold water under the tap.

Lesson well and truly learned!

It wears off eventually, at least you know about this paint before giving it to a junior school kid who might decorate themselves with hilarious willies then discover it stains ;)
