I was 33 when my mum died just a few weeks before her 60th. I had 3 young kids and the youngest just a few weeks old. Shes missed out on so much. She would love the fact we did our house up, kids are beautiful, and she’d be very proud. Im sad that they don’t have many memories of her.
but its not a sad day today. My eldest is 21. So we will celebrate her day and life!

The sun is shining and you’d be giggling about my little DS begging for an early-season bbq. It would be crumpets for brunch in the garden instead, while we decided what to plant in the vegetable patch this year. But without you here, I haven’t the heart to grow anything.
We all miss you so very much, love you always mum. Happy Mother’s Day.

Happy heavenly Mothers Day Mum 💔.
A keepsake, a heartache,
To treasure and hold,
Of a beautiful Mother,
More precious than gold,
No verse, no words,
Could ever convey,
How much I miss you more each day,
Whoever said sorrow was healed by time,
Could never have had a Mother like mine.
To everyone missing their Mum's today 💐

Happy Mother's Day to my lovely mum...the first words out of my mouth when I woke up this morning. I hope you heard, I'm sure you did. I've stood my cards next to your ashes, we can share them a bond of motherhood.
You were and are everything I could have ever hoped for in a mum and I just hope you know how loved you always are. I wish I could have made your life easier but know you were always always loved.
Love you, mum, miss you.
And the cats send their purrs to their Nana of Cats xxx

Happy Mother’s Day Mum 💐
The first one without you and it’s hard. I’ve bought you some flowers and placed near your ashes.
I know I told you but thank you for being you, my amazing mum. I love you and miss you so so much.
Your voice is in my head telling me to now dry my tears and go out and have fun with your precious granddaughter’s.

Thank you for this thread, lovely idea.
Happy Mothers Day, Mum. Your love was the core to my being and I thought I'd never function again without you but over time I see I have all the tools and am managing.
Life is so much easier when you just drop the pressure and stop over engaging with what you think is perfect and that you're not matching up. I love you Mum x

3rd Mothers day without my mum but I miss her everyday. Every moment of everyday.
I will raise a glass to her later and thank her for my most wonderful life. She was my champion, my anchor and she is my fortitude. She gave me the strength and positivity to navigate my grief and to find a way to smile without her (something I'd never have thought possible after her very sudden death). I carry her with me spiritually, metaphorically and literally. I am her and she is me.
Being a mother without a mother makes this day quite bewildering.
Sending everyone love and light.
