Is there a weird stomach bug about?

Had diarrhea very unexpectedly on Tuesday. I took a couple of immodium as I was already at work and had a day full of meetings so wondered if it was stress.

The immodium would usually stuff me up for a day or two, but within about 6 hours I had to go again. I was also burping a lot (burps tasted eggy). This is very unusual for me. Upset stomach then continued every 15 minutes for a few hours, it was like water.

Nothing Wednesday, then okay(ish) Thursday and Friday, although not quite right.

its back again today, accompanied by a lot of burping again.

Anyone else had anything similar? wonder if it’s doing the rounds.

I’m taking a probiotic everyday, what else can I do to get rid of it?

I was like that a couple of days ago op.
I woke up and I was fine, but around thirty minutes later I needed the loo fast.
I didn't feel unwell or have stomach ache etc, but I was constantly on the loo. I also took immodium and that helped a lot.
In all, it lasted around six hours before I stopped going with the help of immodium.
I don't normally suffer stuff like that at all.
Hope you feel better soon.

It does sound very similar! No feeling unwell or cramps.

I have been 8 times in the last 3 hours 😬

I've got it accompanied by flu or something. I've been so sick since Tuesday. Maybe there is a virus going around.

I heard on the news last week that norovirus is at a ten year high.

Sometimes you can have it without any vomiting
