Can you still buy them any more? Where from? I just need them in a low prescription for reading and computers.

(I’ve had my eyes tested recently, don’t worry.)

The pound shop. That’s where my optician told me to go.

Feel · 18/03/2023 22:49

Poundland and one below.

I like IZIPIZI. A bit more expensive but a variety of styles and colours. I also have the reading sunglasses for holidays.

Fromwetome · 18/03/2023 23:19

They are everywhere, eBay, Amazon, most chemists still have them. Saw them in boots and in Morrisons today.

The lowest is have seen +1.00

Boomboom22 · 18/03/2023 23:21

Tesco sell them

JimmyKrankie · 18/03/2023 23:22

Wilkos actually do some fairly decent ones, I've had 2 pairs from there.

ShagratandGorbag4ever · 18/03/2023 23:36

Amazon.

DelphiniumBlue · 18/03/2023 23:37

Primark. Or any supermarket.

Youvebeenseeingsos · 18/03/2023 23:41

Home bargains.

I’ve just seen some fold up ones that are folded up in a keyring. Magic but ££, they would be so handy though.

I have a +1 and mine come from Nooz optics, they are £45 ish but they have a simple way of attaching the arms to the frame that means they don’t break. I used to buy much cheaper ones but they always broke at that point. I get them with an anti blue light coating as I mainly use them on the computer. My current pair have lasted four years so they have worked out as good value so far.

mondaytosunday · 18/03/2023 23:44

Boots, and Amazon sells them cheap.

DogInATent · 19/03/2023 00:08

Yes.
Got a couple of pairs from Amazon when I noticed I was struggling with reading (age, it happens..). But the cheap ones aren't a patch on the prescription pair I got a couple of months later.
