Any health care professionals who can make me understand what this is?. I have had no symptoms of thrush whatsoever except a slight stinging sensation. I got a call saying my swab showed thrush -"scant growth of candida spp"(I read this in my test results just now. What does it mean? I think all humans do have a bit of yeast on their bodies? Also what does candida spp mean?. Any advice from those who have knowledge about this?

Candida spp is just thrush. A stinging sensation is a symptom of thrush. Get some treatment tablet/cream/pessary and it should clear it up really quickly. It is so common, that I wouldn't be worried. Just get the treatment ASAP to stop it getting worse.
