I recently left DH alongside leaving what I now realise is a cult (religious organisation).
My social circle has been the church for many years. Since leaving, I have lost all "friends" too.
I have reconnected with lots of old friends online, but many live in my home town which is around 30 minutes from me and I don't drive, so socialising with them isn't easy. I was wondering how others made new friends after a break up? I feel like I am completely starting over.
I am in my early 30's and have one DC, who is 15. I was a teen Mum.
If anyone can help, that'd be great.
