If anyone can suggest. If you were going to spend4-5 days inI Ireland, in Oman's out if Dublin, with a car, what would you do?

Company is 2 ppl who have never been (Canadian and Australian), late 50s, fun. I'd say city walking tour, Trinity etc. Wicklow mountains and the monastery (name?). Newgrange? Then, given the time constraints, Kerry or Moher?

I think you're thinking of Glendalough, which is lovely for visitors. Take a look at Powerscourt House and Gardens too, it's a lovely afternoon out. I don't know if Newgrange would have enough to warrant a visit in your timeframe- it's north of Dublin and Wicklow is south, so you'd probably get more bang for your buck going south.

I'd highly recommend Kilkenny city, it has a great buzz and loads to do. It's a small city too so you can easily walk it.

If you're going to Kerry Dingle is lovely and I'd much prefer it to Killarney (the main tourist town). There are loads of fabulous restaurants and bars and tonnes of options for days out to see the greenery.

Stop at Adare village for tea if you're passing that way Smile
