I've already bought some flowers, but looking for a small gift (under £10) as well.

Anyone got any good suggestions? Mum is 78. Thanks

I bought a birdhouse for the garden and painted it mustardy yellow colour.

Posh biscuits or other 'nice' food that your DM enjoys... speciality cheese or similar?

But does your DM actually want anything ..my own DM has made it absolutely clear that she does not want or need anything else in her life now Grin. I do give her a card and invite her to lunch but she genuinely does not want any more 'stuff'.

Sunshineboo · 17/03/2023 20:14

a spring plant. m&s has some in nice pots - daffs, grow your own strawberry's and mint and sunflower.

AuntArctic3000 · 17/03/2023 20:17

I've bought some shampoo/conditioner that my DM likes but can't now get out to buy, as I know it'll get used. This is rather than buying something that will gather dust!

AuntArctic3000 · 17/03/2023 20:18

Although have just reread op and have seen you said not smellies.....sorry!

MargotMoon · 17/03/2023 20:19

I don't care what age you are, disco ice cubes are a winner.

Thanks all - went with socks in the end ☺️

She has everything she wants, doesn't drink, is allergic to many smellies, is pre-diabetic ( so no sweet stuff).
