Compostable coffee pods

Usually use cafetiere but find Nespresso machine occasionally convenient - horrified at cost of own brand pods though, any recommendations for reasonable priced alternatives ideally with home compostable pods? Prefer a strong coffee with a bit of oomph. Thanks.

You can get stainless steel dupes that you put ground coffee in - better for the environment and you get a proper choice of beans/ground

WWF do ones that fit Nespresso a friend of mine owns the company Tupunumba coffee I think it's spelled but that's close enough for a search engine.

DD has a subscription to Grind. It's nice coffee but I'm not sure re tge oomph

Grind is fab!

They do different strengths too so you can get the ooomph!

Having tried the steel refillable ones, I don't think you get the full 'dose' of coffee that you do from the disposables, or at least I never felt they were as good. Having tried lots of compatible versions, including cheap plastic own brand pods and feeling guilty about it, I'm about to try 'odd pods' https://www.oddcoffeeco.com/products/nespresso-pods?variant=44010090791125 - they say they rescue slightly bashed but still functional aluminium and compostable pods and post them out to you. Will probably also buy one of the Dualit contraptions for recycling them.

Thanks all for the suggestions going to order a few different sample ones to try.

I really rate Grind. The dark ones are reasonably strong. They've just brought out decaff for the first time. Nice to support a small company too.
