5 week passport office strike coming up! Risk it or change name on ticket?

I have a passport in my maiden name as I've never got around to updating it. I've travelled on it since marriage for years and am now divorced! I usually just book trips in my maiden name but forgot for this year's summer holiday and thought I'd take the opportunity to finally update my passport. However, I haven't done it yet - was going to sort after next payday. Now I've seen this strike and am panicking! I've looked at BA website to see if I can just change the name on the tickets (for a fee, presumably) but I can't find anything on their site - just other info online which then doesn't fit their actual site. What would you do?

Why would you change your passport into your married name if you're now divorced?

I'd change the ticket instead

The website says you need to call them and it costs £100

Thank you! I'll call them but would actually like to change my passport as I use my married name for everything - I like having the same name as my dc.

You could change the passport using a fast tracked service or change the ticket
