Apprentice - scraping the barrel

What an uncomfortable watch tonight was. It was all about belittling and ridiculing the candidates. Baroness Brady didn’t do herself any favours - god knows why she agreed to be so vindictive to these (pretty clueless) young women.
None of them had a realistic business plan whereas five years ago the plans and businesses at this stage would have been pretty solid. It seems the bottom of the barrel for this programme has well and truly been scraped.

Gone is the time I would never miss an episode. But Brady is such a nasty person. I looked into her and it all made sense. Her daughter is a bit of a thot. Sugar is equally nasty and I can't believe he didn't get cancelled off the BBC after his very racist tweet about the Senegal national football team in 2018. They seem to be untouchable for some reason.

I was distracted by their lips, couldn’t take them seriously.

They must have a large number of people applying to be on that program. Don't you think the producers would choose people with decent business plans and good business ideas? What is the bloody point of having people on the program who don't even include staffing costs in the business plan?

I don’t think you’ve understood the purpose of the show! It’s not to find a good business, or business person, it’s to create entertainment. They choose the most ‘entertaining’ ones.

This series has made me yearn for the good old days of The Apprentice. It all started to go downhill when it changed to 'investing in a business' instead of a 12 week job interview - this series has been the worst yet.

Remember when they used to put the final on a Sunday. It was a really big deal in the TV scheduling, not anymore.
