When will it stop raining?!

Is anyone else feeling very oppressed by this constant band of wet weather that has settled? it’s been raining all week here and the forecast ahead is nothing but rain. I’m longing for some sunlight and clear skies. I’d rather freezing cold temperatures rather than this never ending drizzle.

It’s grim isn’t it? No nice weather showing in the 10 day forecast either. I normally don’t mind the last bit of winter but this year it does seem to be lingering for ever.

Yes!! It's so depressing, my puppy has recently had his second vaccination and I haven't even been able to walk him yet! I've never craved spring and some blue skies so much.

We've literally had sun and blue skies within the last week, the rain is good for the growing plants!

I agree. My new puppy has been out for walks already (4 months old) but it’s all so muddy, I’m so looking forward to sunnier and warmer walks! 🐾 (I know I signed up for muddy walks, btw!)

Just awful here in Gloucestershire and forecast more rain for the next week! My garden is ruined from this winter, it’s a mud bath. And I’m sick of washing the dog off after every walk 😡

Yes to the garden mud bath !!! I need to get to rabbits daily and it’s like a slip and slide. Desperately want to get it paved this summer.

I don’t mind ‘showers’ but it been raining continuously. The sky is misty and overcast and everything is wet and muddy. Living in the countryside by the coast in a rainy spell is less than ideal.

I know what you mean I got soaked three times yesterday.
Walking to work, taking someone out whilst at work, walking home again.
Don’t talk to me about bloody washing everywhere.

The garden isn’t going to recover, we’ve lost a lot of grass, not helped by ds playing football on it all winter! Then constant rain. Had a lawn care company out today to see if they can rescue it sigh…..

It is really getting me down, the whole month has been shit. Looks like the next week or so will bring little improvement either!

Walked the dog.. got soaked.
Did the shopping... got soaked.
Walked the dog again... guess what..?

And the MUD. There is nowhere left to walk my girl that isn't incredibly muddy, and she needs at least one off lead run a day. My house has..mud and the smell of damp dog.

Can't predict precipitation cessation but oh my the lighter evenings are a great start.

No, there's likely to be a severe water shortage in most of Europe this summer, I'm hoping for a continuous bout of not too much rain so there's no crazy floods but the water reserves still fill up.
